RED Nord, the distribution network operator, has scheduled power cuts for the week of 20–24 October in the municipality of Ungheni and in eight villages of the district. The longest schedule applies to several streets in the municipality: four days in a row, from Wednesday, 21 October, to Saturday, 24 October, 12 hours a day, from 08.00 to 20.00.
Ungheni municipality: 21–24 October, 08.00–20.00
The power cuts are linked to investment works on the 0.4 kV overhead power lines, according to the operator’s schedule. The addresses, as they appear in the schedule:
- Horelor St. 1, 2, 3, 3a, 5, 5a, 7, 7a, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19;
- I. Neculce St. 65, 67, 67A;
- Marinescu St. 1, 2, 3, 4, 4a, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10A, 11, 12, 13, 13A, 14, 15, 15A, 15b, 15a, 16, 18, 18a, 19, 20, 20A, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 25a, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30;
- Viilor Lane (str-la Viilor) 2, 6, 8, 10;
- Viilor St. 12, 14, 16, 16A, 28, 30.
These addresses lose power on each of the four days, Wednesday to Saturday. On Iași St. 7 and 56, the power cut is scheduled for Wednesday, 21 October, Thursday, 22 October, and Saturday, 24 October, also from 08.00 to 20.00. On the same days and hours, the schedule also includes non-household consumers, without addresses.
The villages: one day each, from 08.30 to 16.30
Tuesday, 20 October
- Cioropcani and Cioropcanii Vechi: maintenance of the 10 kV line;
- Măgurele: sanitary tree trimming on the 10 kV line, at four transformer stations. On the same day and for the same works, non-household consumers at two other stations will also be disconnected.
Wednesday, 21 October
- Boghenii Vechi: equipment installation on the 0.4 kV line;
- Cioropcani: maintenance of the 10 kV line.
Thursday, 22 October
- Boghenii Vechi: equipment installation;
- Sculeni: equipment installation.
Friday, 23 October
- Floreni: equipment installation;
- Cetireni: sanitary tree trimming;
- Boghenii Noi and Boghenii Vechi: equipment installation.
All works in the villages are scheduled from 08.30 to 16.30. In the schedule, the reconnection time is when the operator expects power to return.
