Ungheni launches its 10-million bond issue on Monday: what interest it pays and the minimum you can buy in
From Monday, 10 August, the municipality of Ungheni opens its public offer of bonds worth 10 million lei — the money it will use to repair its streets. After the terms were only draft in July, the National Commission for Financial Markets approved the prospectus on 4 August, and the figures are now firm: 10,000 securities of 1,000 lei each, split into three classes, with interest rates of 9.5%, 10% and one floating rate, over 2, 3 and 4 years. An Ungheni resident can buy from 5,000 lei, and in the first two working days the offer is reserved for individuals. Victoriabank intermediates the subscription.
