A €375,000 project with the nurses of Iași would bring the Ungheni District Hospital emergency equipment and a unit for medical waste

The Ungheni District Hospital announces that it is a partner in a cross-border project for responding to health crises — an outfit of emergency-care equipment and a unit for neutralising hazardous medical waste. The official document shows, however, that this is a provisional selection, with a European grant of at most €375,438.90 for the whole partnership: the contract has not yet been signed.

€15,000 from Iași brings heating and a toilet to the family-doctor office in Cioropcani

At an extraordinary session on Thursday, the Ungheni District Council approved a 500,000-lei project that will give the Family Doctors' Office in Cioropcani heating, a sanitary unit and a proper entrance — basic conditions it still lacked. Most of the money, €15,000 out of €24,875, comes from the Iași County Council under a cross-border cooperation agreement signed back in 2009; the district adds the rest. At the same session, councillors allocated money from the district budget and approved writing off worn-out assets at two schools — the exact allocation sum has not yet been made public.
