
Ungheni leads a 1.47-million-euro European project on "green infrastructure". What it means and why it matters for the town
The town of Ungheni is not just taking part but leading "UCare" — a 1.47-million-euro European project that helps Black Sea Basin towns cope with heat, drought and floods through "green infrastructure": parks, trees, wetlands and surfaces that let water soak into the ground. A team from the Town Hall has just returned from a working meeting in Tulcea (3–6 August).
