Ungheni's new market rules could go to public debate: fees, schedule, spots for producers

On 21 August, at an ordinary session, the Ungheni Municipal Council has a proposal on its agenda: initiating a public consultation on the operating concept of the new agri-food market on Decebal Street. If the council adopts it, residents could intervene, under the law, in the market's rules — administration, tariffs, opening hours, priority for local producers — before they are set. We explain what the council is set to discuss and how a public consultation unfolds.
