Apă-Canal Ungheni responds to the water-tariff article: five clarifications, no figure disproved
SRL „Apă-Canal Ungheni” has published five clarifications on our article about the 40.01 lei/m³ tariff, in force since 14 July. Checked against the documents, they disprove no figure: two repeat figures the article had already published, one recalculates the electricity decrease on a different basis — 19.1% instead of 19.4%, the same conclusion — and the response also brings new data, which we publish: the structure of the roughly 140 employees, the history of the electricity price and the waste-water repumping stations. The main findings remain without comment. And three days after the tariff took effect, the operator's tariff page and the ANRE registry were still displaying the old price.
