The Ungheni centre screens for breast cancer free of charge for four districts — who it is for and how to reach an ultrasound or a mammogram
One of Moldova's regional centres for the early detection of breast cancer operates at the IMSP Ungheni Health Centre: it serves women from the Ungheni, Nisporeni, Călărași and Fălești districts, and the services — clinical examination, ultrasound and digital mammography — are free, covered through CNAM. We explain who has access, how to get there and what is done, depending on age.
